ত্রিকোণমিতি গণিতের একটি শাখা, যাতে ত্রিভুজের কোণ, বাহু ও তাদের মধ্যকার সম্পর্ক ব্যবহার করে বিভিন্ন সমস্যার সমাধান করা হয়। ত্রিকোণমিতি শব্দের ইংরেজি প্রতিশব্দ হচ্ছে Trigonometry। এই শব্দটি আবার গ্রিক শব্দ trigōnon "ত্রিভুজ" এবং metron "পরিমাপ" থেকে উদ্ভূত হয়েছে ।ত্রিভুজের তিনটি বাহুর অনুপাত এবং বিপরীত অনুপাত নিয়ে ত্রিকোণমিতির পরিমাপ গুলো হয়ে থাকে । এদেরকে sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cotangent (cot), secant (sec), এবং cosecant (csc) দিয়ে প্রকাশ করা হয়ে থাকে ।
Knowledge of mathematics .
I have an extensive understanding of mathematics, ranging from algebra and geometry to statistics and calculus. This knowledge has been acquired from both my studies in University and college. My grasp of the subject allows me to explain complex concepts and processes to my students, in an engaging and accessible manner. I am well-versed in the various theorems and equations which are needed to solve problems, and can offer my students the guidance they need to understand the subject. Furthermore, I am well-versed in the different applications of mathematics in the real world, which I can also explain to my students. My knowledge in mathematics is consistently developing, and I am always looking for ways to improve my students' understanding in the subject.
Teaching Strategies.
As a teacher, I understand that all students learn differently, which is why I strive to find multiple ways to explain difficult concepts. I believe that teaching students different ways to solve problems and use alternate strategies can help students who struggle to grasp difficult concepts. My lesson plans are designed to engage students and give them the confidence they need to succeed in mathematics. By introducing a variety of problem-solving strategies, students are able to understand the material better and are able to apply their knowledge more effectively. Additionally, my lesson plans give students the opportunity to practice their skills in a safe and supportive environment where they can ask questions and work through problems with guidance and support. Furthermore, I make sure to provide opportunities for students to work independently, so they can gain a deeper understanding of the material. By offering multiple approaches to learning, I am able to create an environment where all students can be successful.
A Personable Approach.
I strongly believe that my students should never give up when they are wrong. Instead, I encourage them to take a step back, think about where they may have gone wrong, and try to work through the problem until they reach the correct answer. I am always ready and willing to provide any help and guidance where needed. I want my students to understand that mistakes are an essential part of learning, and that it is okay to make them as long as effort is made to learn from them. I also encourage them to take ownership of their mistakes; to take responsibility for them and to not be afraid of admitting when they are wrong. This is an important skill that will help them throughout their lives. I want my students to understand that mistakes are inevitable and that the only way to truly learn is to never give up on a problem and to keep working until the correct answer is found..
